Recognition and Appreciations to our school Principal

Ms. Anita Sharma Principal was honoured by "World Academy of Spiritual Science (WASS) on 14th January'07 for contribution to Science & Spirituality. She was also honoured in the 4th International Vedic Convention.

She was also awarded 'Global responsive & interactive Education Award' on 30th December'06 during Global summit on Globalisation by the High Commissioner of Mozambique.

Appointed as Founder Member of Interantional Society for Technology of Education, Washington D.C. USA.

Awarded 'Rashtra Gaurav Award' by Indo-International Friendship Society.

Bagged Guru Dronacharya Award by Directorate of Education for distinguish services in the field of education.

Awarded 'Avantika Shankutalam Samman' by Group of Contemporary Artists and Intellectual, Lawrence Road Delhi.

Great going...... in NCERT Workshop supported by UNICEF

Five of our school children were priviledge enough to participate in the five day workshop on Script writing and Video Production from 25th to 29th August, 2007. Only selected children of three schools were selected for this workshop which was conducted by resource persons from Germany MR. Chris Scheupp and his team. This workshop was supported by Chinh India and UNICEF.
These students of age 13 to 15 years not only produced one minute (exactly 60 seconds not less or not more) video but also has been selected for filming their video for an International Competition to be held in Amsterdam in November to represent India.
Ms. Anita Sharma, Principal and Prof. Dharam Parkash, Head, Media Production Div. NCERT Delhi applauded their contribution and hard work as the students shot their videos from morning 9 am to 10 pm late night on the roads of buzy Delhi.
These students will now share their knolwedge with other students of the school in comming days.

Laurels brought by Teachers

PGT Geography, Mr. Suryaveer Singh and PGT Biology, Mrs. Sonia Bobal received presigious award from High Commissioner of Mozambique for their contribution in the field of interactive Education and for the promotion and use Technology in Education at the Global summit held at Indian Habitat Centre, Delhi.

Mr. Suryaveer Singh, PGT Geography, has been recognised and awarded by eshiksha CII (Confederation of Indian Industries) for his contributions and delivery of modern educational technology open source tools.

Mrs. Vandana Sharma, PGT English, received a trophy and a certificate for her contribution to CAL (Computer aided Teaching) programme developed by Directorate of Education from the Chief Minister Mrs. Shiela Dixit.

PET Mrs. Usha Rani, received appreciation certificate from Directorate of Education for outstanding achievements by the school students in Athletics.

Sanskrity Academy honoured Mrs. Praveen Bali, TGT Sanskrit, with a shawl and a certificate for promoting sanskrit and bringing 100% result in class X.

Internatioal Achievements: Sports

Sandeep of Class XI representing India secured 4th position in 400 mts. race in Junior Asiad in Thailand.
Eight students and PET was awarded appreciation certificates by Lok Sabha Speaker, Mr. Somnath Chatterjee in a function organised by Table Tennis Pro Tour International Championship at IGI Stadium.

Internatioal Achievements: Cultural Exchange

Vidit Aatrey of Class X represented India in the International Youth Exchange Meet: 2005 at Mt. Fuji, Japan Organised by International Red Cross Society.

The students of our school presented a play Tamso Ma Jyotigamaya' with a theme channelising and guiding the youth of today at First World Convention on 'Science and Spirituality and 4th International Vedic Convention.

Varun Mittal and Kanishka Tiwary bagged 4th position for their project "Effect of Chinaberry on growing, feeding and development of DBM" in the International Science Engineering Fair held at Indiana Polis, USA amongst 47 countries and brought laurels for the nation. These students and their guide teacher Ms. Sonika Kocchar were honoured by President APJ Abudul Kalam.

National Achievements: Science

For the fourth consecutive year our science project has been selected for the participation at National Level in CBSE Science Exhibition. This year our project 'Multifeatured Helmet' has been selected for the National Level.

Project 'Energy' received 1st position in National Science Fair organised by National Science Centre, Pragati Maidaan and by IRIS & CII (Confederation of Indian Industries) at IIT Delhi.

Project on Cancer Treatment participated in CBSE National Fair along with 200 projects from India and Gulf Countries.

National Achievements: Sports

Our Table Tennis Champion Chirag Kapur of Class IV-A bagged 1st Position in all of the following Tournaments: Ping Pong TT Tournament, Ramjas Inter school Championship, All India State open TT Tournament, 45th Summer Open TT Tournament, 6th Hansraj Model School Open TT Tournament, 15th St. Columbus School Open TT Tournament.
